Simple Supper
- Fry paneer cheese. Remove from pan.
- Fry onions, garlic, ginger until soft.
- Add some fresh chilli, sweet soy sauce, soy sauce + tommy K.
- Add paneer and heat for a few minutes.

Friday is sourdough day. Nine hours of attentive dough nurturing. The first loaf is baking and looking and smelling darn good.
My Lodge Combo Cooker - a Christmas gift is working a treat. I’m getting a tough chewy crust, in fact it is almost too tough to cut. I think it really is the answer to getting a wood-fire oven effect in a domestic oven as suggested in the brilliant Tartine Bread book.
